miFormulas · import from Formulair
Reads the Formulair database entirely in your browser and adds your formulas and materials to miFormulas. Nothing leaves your computer.
1. Find the database
In Formulair choose File › Close (Formulair then quits by itself): Close is what makes Formulair write its latest changes into the database file. Then, in the Finder, choose Go › Go to Folder… and paste:
~/Library/Containers/co.uk.lux-terra.Formulair/Data/Library/Application Support/Formulair/
The file is DataModel.sqlite. Copy it somewhere handy, for instance the Desktop. If DataModel.sqlite-wal next to it is large (megabytes rather than kilobytes), your latest changes are still in that file; section 17 of the manual shows how to fold them in.
2. Read it
Drop DataModel.sqlite here or click to choose it
The file can be large (Formulair keeps a long sync history inside it); reading takes a moment.
What you get
Every Formulair formula becomes a miFormulas formula with one frozen version, keeping its notes, date, category, colour marks per line and every material with its dilutions, CAS, supplier, cost, IFRA limit, pyramid level, stock and description. Categories keep their colours. Nothing is converted or renamed.
Formulair is flat: "Aura v04" and "Aura v05" are two separate formulas there. They stay separate here too. Grouping them into one base formula with versions is a decision for you, later, in miFormulas.
